Services
Tax preparation for real life and real businesses.
Two core services, done carefully and explained clearly. If you’re not sure which one fits, that’s what the inquiry form is for.
For individuals & families
Individual tax preparation
For people with a paycheck, a family, a few moving parts, or all of the above.
We prepare your federal and state returns, look for the credits and deductions you actually qualify for, and talk you through the results before anything is filed.
Commonly included
- W-2 wages and multiple jobs
- 1099 income: interest, dividends, and freelance or gig work
- Dependents and family credits, like the Child Tax Credit and Earned Income Tax Credit
- Education credits and student loan interest
- Retirement income and Social Security benefits
- Homeownership and itemized deductions
- State returns, for any state you need
For small-business owners
Small-business tax preparation
For freelancers, sole proprietors, side hustlers, and owners who’d rather be running the business than decoding the tax code.
We report your business income and expenses correctly, handle self-employment tax, and help you plan for estimated payments so next year is calmer than this one.
Tell us up front. A messy spreadsheet is a starting point, not a dealbreaker, and we’ll talk through what’s needed to get your return done.
Commonly included
- Sole proprietor and single-member LLC returns (Schedule C)
- Self-employment tax and the qualified business income deduction
- Home office, vehicle, and other business deductions
- Guidance on quarterly estimated tax payments
- 1099-NEC filing for contractors you paid
- S corporation returns (Form 1120-S)
- New business setup support (ask for details)
Good to know
What to expect, plainly.
Clear starting fees
You’ll know your starting fee before we begin. Your final fee depends on what your return actually needs, and you’ll see it when you review your completed return, before you sign. If something adds significant work along the way, we’ll give you a heads-up.
No refund promises
Your refund or balance due depends on your actual tax situation. We’ll get you every benefit you qualify for, but we won’t guess at numbers to win your business.
Questions after April
Clients can reach out year-round with questions about notices, estimated payments, or life changes that affect next year.
Ask about a second look at a return you prepared yourself. If something was missed, we’ll explain your options.
Not every situation is a fit for our practice, and that’s okay. If yours isn’t, we’ll say so quickly and point you in a helpful direction. We don’t represent clients before the IRS. If a notice needs that kind of help, we’ll explain what it means and refer you to a qualified professional.
Let’s get you on the calendar
Not sure which service fits?
Send a short note about your situation. We’ll tell you what applies, what to gather, and what it will cost.
